The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to stronger collaboration with the Lagos State Health Service Commission to enhance security in healthcare facilities and improve public service delivery across the state.
The assurance was given when the Chairman of the Lagos State Health Service Commission, Dr. Oguntimehin Olukayode, led members of the commission on a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.
Other members of the delegation included Dr. Ogboye Olusegun Abayomi, Dr. Odunuga Omolaja Olushola, Dr. (Pharm.) Mrs. Adejumo Moyosore Wuraola and Dr. Mrs. Ololade Fadipe.
During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to deepen cooperation, with emphasis on police support for healthcare facilities, improved security and enhanced service delivery within the state’s health sector.
Speaking during the visit, CP Fatai thanked the delegation for the engagement and stressed that sustained collaboration among government institutions remained crucial to efficient public service and the protection of lives and property.
He reiterated the Lagos State Police Command’s readiness to work closely with the Health Service Commission to ensure a secure environment that supports quality healthcare delivery for residents.
The visit underscored the growing partnership between the police and key government agencies in promoting public safety and strengthening institutional service delivery in Lagos State.
