Abuja, September 11, 2026 — The Executive Director, Medium and Emerging Taxpayers of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Mrs. Bolaji Akintola, has been honoured with the prestigious Silent Heroes Award in Public Service for her contributions to public administration and service delivery.
The award was presented during the Silent Heroes Awards ceremony held in June at the luxurious Wells Carlton Hotel, Asokoro, Abuja.

Akintola was, however, unable to attend the ceremony due to other pressing official engagements.
In recognition of her achievements and commitment to public service, the award was formally presented to her on Friday, September 11, 2026, at her office in Abuja.

The presentation was led by the Founder of the Nigeria Silent Heroes Awards Initiative, Mr. Odita Sunday, alongside members of his team.

Speaking during the presentation, Sunday commended Akintola for her dedication to public service and her contributions to the development of Nigeria’s revenue administration system.
The Silent Heroes Awards Initiative is focused on recognising individuals whose outstanding contributions to society and public service often take place away from the spotlight.

The honour adds to Akintola’s record of professional accomplishments and recognises her role in advancing the interests of medium and emerging taxpayers within Nigeria’s revenue administration framework.
