Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has congratulated the National Public Relations Officer of the Corps, Assistant Commandant of Corps (ACC) Babawale Afolabi Zaid, on his promotion to the rank of Assistant Commandant of Corps.
In a congratulatory message issued on Friday, the Lagos State Command Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Corps Olusola Odumosu Abolurin, described the promotion as well-deserved, noting that it reflects ACC Zaid’s dedication, professionalism and outstanding contributions to the image and communication efforts of the Corps.
According to Abolurin, the decoration ceremony, which took place at the Ade Abolurin Hall on Thursday, January 8, was a proud moment for the NSCDC, as ACC Zaid has consistently distinguished himself as a prolific speaker and a dependable mouthpiece of the Corps.
He praised the National PRO for his commitment to duty and wished him continued success as he takes on higher responsibilities within the Service.
“May you reign with blessings, good health, peace and sound mind as you continue your career sojourn in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,” Abolurin stated.
The Lagos State Command reaffirmed its support for the National PRO and expressed confidence that his elevation would further strengthen public engagement and strategic communication of the NSCDC nationwide.
